No Time to DieJames Bond
In the pre-title sequence set in Matera, Italy, James Bond commandeers the black Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE after the attack at Vesper Lynd’s tomb and a confrontation with Safin’s assassin Primo. He rides it through the ancient city’s narrow streets, down a long flight of stone steps, and launches it into a piazza during the high-speed chase before abandoning it outside his hotel as the pursuit closes in.
MotorcycleAbout This Product
The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE is a production motorcycle from Triumph Motorcycles, the British manufacturer founded in 1902. It is powered by a liquid-cooled 1,200 cc SOHC 8-valve parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank, multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection, and a six-speed gearbox, producing 89 bhp at 7000 rpm and 81.1 lb-ft of torque at 4250 rpm. On screen in No Time to Die, the motorcycle appears in a black configuration adapted for the Matera action sequence, with specially modified stunt versions featuring an oversized Triumph tank badge, brushed decal foil kneepad, and hand-painted gold coachline to withstand the demanding stair descent and jump through the city. Triumph has stated that the Scrambler 1200 XE used in the film later informed the Bond Edition derived from the custom action bikes built for production.
